Old Town Resident's Association Thursday evening, April 17 Home of Chantal Worzala and Keats Kirsch, Maple Avenue Caroline Alderson and Sabrina Baron presented an overview of Takoma Park's residential historic district, home-renovation requirements and procedures, and what's new with Historic Takoma. Maple Avenue resident Melissa Avery, who president of non-profit organization Music on the Rise, spoke about the event she is producing as part of Montgomery County Heritage Days, June 28-29. Takoma Park will participate with a program at the carriage house on Tulip Avenue. Heritage Days is a county wide event that brings awareness to the public of our community's heritage.
