Caroline Alderson and Sabrina Baron presented an overview of Takoma Park's
residential historic district, home-renovation requirements and procedures, 
and what's new with Historic Takoma.

Maple Avenue resident Melissa Avery, who president of non-profit organization 
Music on the Rise, spoke about the event she is producing as part of 
Montgomery County Heritage Days, June 28-29. Takoma Park will participate 
with a program at the carriage house on Tulip Avenue.  Heritage Days is a 
county wide event that brings awareness to the public of our community's
